About Us

Larry Rubin
President & CEO

Celebrating our 92nd year
as a solutions oriented manufacturer:

In this digital age, as processing of images becomes easier, and markets realize that graphic opportunities exist virtually everywhere, the DISPLAY function becomes critical.

Testrite Visual strives to facilitate and define American Graphic Display Hardware. Taking advantage of display opportunities will continue to be a growth area for years to come because visual communication is cost efficient and effective.

We are celebrating our 92 years in business. It is our honor to present to you our new catalog featuring many exciting new products.

Our approach has always been to listen carefully to our customers, and to deliver products that best maximize current marketing trends. We service a wide range of industries and structure our discount schedules to offer robust re-seller margins.

Testrite is very proud to be an American manufacturer with an extraordinary reputation for value and reliability. Because we manufacture in the U.S., our supply chain is shorter, "greener", and we can offer customizable solutions.

Testrite, and our newest Display Source Catalog, have been a labor of love and tells a story of continuing product and Company evolution. For nine decades we have enjoyed working closely with our customers to make their projects successful.

Thank you - customers, vendors, employees - past and present.

Sincerely,

Larry Rubin
President & CEO

We are proud of our rich history:

Founded in 1919 in lower Manhattan by my grandfather, Herman Neuwirth, Testrite was originally an importer and manufacturer of scientific instruments.

WW II forced the company to rely solely on manufacturing, producing government specified optical goods and war materials.

In 1955 the company moved to Newark, N.J. For the next five decades we manufactured photographic, art material, office product, audio-visual, & educational accessories under our own brand name and others.

Quality assurance

Testrite Visual is committed to providing quality products at very competitive prices.

Standard catalog items are made with tools and dies, ensuring consistency and proper component fit.

For custom products, we prepare job folders with all pertinent specifications, cut sheets, etc. that travel with the job as it goes from one department to another.
Final quality assurance occurs in final assembly
prior to packing.

We employ an experienced workforce and our staff has a very strong work ethic from top to bottom.  All of us are proud of our quality and performance levels.
